first 2 tiered cake!

vanilla cake with pink swiss buttercream and chocolate ganache.  each tier has 3 layers, and in between each layer is a layer of ganache and buttercream.  YUM!

a cake like this feeds 20-30 people and costs 50-60 dollars.

kiss me...i'm a little irish.

so tracy asked me to make some sort of st. patrick's day dessert for her big annual st. patty's family celebration, and this is what i came up with!  classic shortbread with shamrocks on top!  not real shamrocks of course...shortbread shamrocks with heart shaped leaves....which i believe to be even more lucky than the average shamrock.  more delicious for sure.
